Freelance/Power Point Presentation Group Project
Adapted from a lesson plan designed by Mr. Hal Cone and Mrs. Lynn Dombrowski.
1. Described below are the requirements of your Freelance/Power Point presentation and slide show:
A. Each group is responsible for creating a presentation using Freelance/Power Point that will be educational for anyone wishing to learn about waves, sound, and/or light.
B.The Freelance/Power Point Slide Show should contain the following:
**A Title Page containing your topic for this presentation and all group members' names. There may only be 1, 2, 3, or 4 people in a group.
**Each and every slide should contain at least one graphic (clipart, graph, digital picture, etc.).
**Your slide show including title page should have a minimum of 6 slides and a maximum of 10 slides.
**Your slide show should not break copyright laws. (A handout is available in the media center.)
**Print and turn in a copy of your presentation as handouts with 4 or 6 slides per page.
2. Grading: Read very carefully. Each group member will be rewarded the same number of points for this project. You all get the same grade; thus all members should carry their portion of the workload.
Criteria:
*Actual slide show on disk (20%), handouts (20%), and presentation (20%)(5-7 minutes), yes you will be timed, will be worth 60% of the overall grade.
*Neatness of the presentation (how it looks) will be worth 20% of overall grade.
*Relevance of topic to chapters studied will be worth 10% of overall grade.
*Accuracy of content will be worth 10% of overall grade.
3. Topics: Carefully and quietly discuss within your group and decide, as a group, on a topic realted to waves, sound, and light. See Ms. Dorrough for topic approval before you get started! (Also, check and make sure that no other group has the same topic.)
BE SURE TO SAVE YOUR WORK TO THE A:/ DRIVE AND ALLOW PLENTY OF TIME FOR THE COMPUTER TO FINISH SAVING. LABEL YOUR DISK LIKE YOUR TITLE PAGE.
