The fifth Element of Art is SPACE.
Space has five components to learn. They are: Positive Space; Negative Space, Foreground; Middle Ground; and Background.
All things exist in space. It is important to show the object you have drawn in space, otherwise the image floats and the viewer will not be able to understand what you want to say with your images.
