Welcome to the Home Page for the Migrant Education After School Program in Duarte Unified School District, Duarte, California. This page will give you information about the current theme for the class, field trips or programs scheduled, meeting times, and activities students have created. The class takes place most Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30 to 4:30 at Maxwell Elementary School. It is taught by Mr. Torres, assisted by ten high school student who serve at tutors. The current theme is Cowboys and Indians. Students are studying the contributions of the Vaqueros and California Native American tribes. They recently participated in a field trip to the Gene Autry Museum of Western Heritage. Click on the links below to play our games or visit sites we enjoy.
