UNIT 06: METEOROLOGY is a very large topic- so large we spend almost all of the third marking period on it.
We divide this topic into TWO UNITS:
(1) UNIT 06 Properties of the Atmosphere gives us the basics about the weather- temperature, pressure, humidity, clouds and precipitation.
(2) UNIT 07 Weather Systems gets us into reading weather maps and understanding air masses, pressure systems and fronts, plus how forecasting is done.
We will be done several internet activities in these two UNITS.
