Just a few more days until Winter Break!! There will be a lot of projects due in the January/February months, so please stay current with the web page. Everything will be posted. Below is description of each one. 1. Speeches: Some of the kids will be presenting their speeches in January. Everything has already been turned in, and some of the kids have already presented their speeches in December, but most have yet to perform them, and will do so in January. 2. Book Reports: The next book report is due at the end of January, and it is slightly different. A rubric is being sent home this week that will explain the book report in full detail. The kids will also be signing up to present their book reports some time in February. 3. Brian Illustrations: The kids have been doing practice sketches this week, and in January they will be choosing any scene from either Hatchet, or Brian's Winter, and illustrated it, and writing a paragraph about it. Presenting it is optional, but many kids have expressed interest in doing so. Please do not hesitate to email me or call me on my cell (I only check my voice mail at work once/week at best) if you have any questions about this, and please check the web page often.
