Thursday, Feb 9
MATH: I gave them a TINY assignment last night, but I really wanted them factor pair and prime factorize without having me up at the board doing it with them. Please take a look at their assignment, and have them show you how they did it.
Today we'll be inching even closer to the dynamics of the triangle. FUN
READING: Davis' class -- WITCH OF BLACKBIRD POND, geez, we haven't read it in awhile, so that's what we'll be doing.
Egg -- more spelling activities, and some geography

Wednesday, Feb 8
MATH: inching closer to angles and measurements, we'll be introducing some concepts. We;ll also be doing some review. We actually have HW tonight, REALLY!! There will be a worksheet that I'll be sending home tonight.
READING: We'll read the story, continue to work on our spelling words/associations, and we'll spend some time working on geography.

Tuesday, FEB 7
MATH: more review, next week we'll hit angles
READING: OK, the kids are going to get some spelling words, and we'll have a test next Monday, Feb 13, and they have to turn in their associations, but that's all the work we'll do. No actual reading work.
GEOGRAPHY: States and Capitals, test on Western Region next week, Tuesday, Feb 14. I'll be sending home blank maps, that will look exactly like the test.

Monday, FEB 6
MATH: the year in review, factor pairing, prime factorizing, GCF, LCM
READING: I'll be giving the kids a spelling list, but we won't have all the assignments of a regular reading unit. Ask your kids what is due and what the expectations are... or contact me. I'll post more about this later.
GEOGRAPHY: States and Capitals, learn them. Western Region test is on Tuesday, Feb 14.
