Here you will find class activities for the Lab. These activities are written with you in mind, so please enjoy them!
CALL Lab B for Tuesday, April 30, 2002
Here are the Lab activities for today.
1- Go to the first activity, SKY BLUE. Here you will find some new words and their definitions. But you must match the word with the correct definition! How many do you know? Don't be sad if you don't know them all, you will learn them today. When you have finished, check the correct answers by clicking on "check answers"
2- Now, you are going to read an article about the Sky and why it is Blue. You will find the article under "USEFUL LINKS". Click on this link. You must read the first part of the article under the title "Discussion". Can you see the words from the first activity? There may be other words that you don't know, you can click on the dictionary link to access an Online Dictionary. But try to guess the meaning of the word before you look it up! When you have finished reading the article, go to the next activity.
3- How much do you remember? Click on the second activity, SKY BLUE REVIEW. Here you will find some information from the article, but one word in each sentence is mixed up, or scrambled. Do you know what the word is? Type it in the box and click on "Check Answer". If you are correct, then you have learned a new word! Congratulations!!
