Welcome to the 4th Lab in this series. Today we'll learn what to do in the event of an earthquake! Here in Vancouver, there is a chance that an earthquake will occur. You will look at a website that can help you to prepare your home and your family.
1- go to "Quia Activities" Click on "Are you Prepared?". Here you will find a scavenger hunt. There is a link to a website that YOU NEED TO READ, and then answer the questions about information on the website.
2- If you want, on the website "Emergency Preparedness - Preparing Yourself- Earthquake Tips", you will find links to listen to a video... "Disaster Response Routes". Take a minute and listen to this information.
3- Go the "Quia Activities" and click on "Be Prepared for An Earthquake", the Vocabulary Review Activity.... Try the 'Word Search', or the 'Matching Game'.
4- If you have a few minutes, send me an email and let me know what you learned! You can also take a couple of minutes to fill out the survey! Thanks...
