*Survival Phrases*
In case you ever come across a person who speaks only French, or if you go to Canada, France, or any other French speaking country, these are some good phrases to know!
~Parlez-vous anglais? (do you speak english?)
~Est-ce qu'il y a quelqu'un qui parle anglais? (is there anyone here that speaks English?)
~Excusez mon français. (excuse my poor French.)
~Je parle un peu français. (I speak a little French)
~Je m'appelle________ (My name is:insert name here)
~Comment t'appelle tu? (what is your name)
~Je ne comprends pas. (I don't understand.)
~Pouvez-vous parler plus lentement? (could you speak more slowly?)
~Quel heure est-il? (what time is it?)
~Ou est la toilette? (Where is the restroom?)
~Oh la la, je suis un ananas! (Wow, I am a pineapple!)
