This is the page I created several years ago when I had to teach a quarter of Environmental Science. I wrote whatever message I had for the students in this spot. I can change the background color, font size and color. You can also add clip art.
This is a great place to give your class instructions. For example:
Step #1: Visit the website located in the Useful Links section and read the article "Magnesium: Are we Getting Enough." After you've read the article, answer the questions on the handout you were given at the beginning of class.
Step #2: Play the Challenge Board game entitled: "Deserts, Tundras, Grasslands, and Forests"
Step #3: Review for tomorrow's exam by playing the Rags to Riches game entitled: "Biomes, Biomes, Biomes"
Step#4: Turn in all of your work before you leave class today. Be prepared for tomorrow's exam by going over your notes and study guide. If you have internet access at home, you can study by returning to this website and playing the review games.
