WELCOME TO WINTER QUARTER 2012!!!

This website is for students in Transitions Levels 4/5 & 5/6, in Pronunciation 5/6, Transitioning to College and Interpreter Prep. at Clark College, but everyone is welcome here. I hope you will find the information and activities on this website useful. Try to use it frequently. Your self-directed, independent study is just as important as your active participation in the classroom. Return to exercises and quizzes that you have done before to monitor your progress. Click on your class syllabus to become better acquainted with the standards expected of your level and what you will study this quarter. Click on the rubrics for your class to see how your skill proficiency will be evaluated. Take advantage of the community events listed on the calendar, too. Studying is very important, but using your English with others and getting better acquainted with American culture and your community is even more important. I hope you will learn many new things and make lots of new friends this quarter. Hopefully, this will be a fun and exciting new quarter for you.
