We are working hard on making responsible decisions in 4th grade. Students should be prepared by having work completed, planners signed & filled out, using black folders, and being prepared for class.
Requirements for the AR parties:
1. Must have met their 25 point goal.
2. Must have a percentage of 85% or better. (shoot for 90%)
3. Must be reading on level.
4. Students should be getting 3 points each week from NF books.

AR: READ AR EACH DAY (AT HOME)! (Each student will need to achieve 25 points by the end of the nine weeks. We are working to get three points a week from non-fiction books in the classroom.)
MATH: Our focus for the third nine weeks will be geometry and measurement. We will continue to use the TI-15 calculator in class. If you would like to purchase one they can be found at www.walmart.com
SCIENCE: Our focus for the third nine weeks will be the water cycle, weather, climate, matter, light, and electricity. .

February 10 - No School Inservice Day

March 6 - Third Reading Benchmark Test
March 7 - Third Math Benchmark Test
March 9 - End of 9 Weeks
March 12 - 16 - Spring Break
March 19 - Beginning of 4th Nine Weeks
April 6 - No School
