Students have a new requirement in AR this 4th nine weeks. They must reach their point goal and average 80% correct on their tests. Check the weekly packet sheet for your child's progress report.
All second grade teachers will be putting A,B,C,D, or F grades on papers during this nine weeks. Mrs. McGill has requested that we do this so that parents and students can get adjusted to the system that will be used in 3rd grade. The report cards will remain the same; we are only doing this on papers.
School will not be in session on Monday, May 28. It is Memorial Day. Classes will resume on Tuesday, May 29. Our last day of school is Wednesday, May 30. It is a half day for the students.
We have a field trip to Rotary Park scheduled for Thursday, May 24. Permission slips have been sent home. Be sure to check whether or not your child needs a lunch packed by the cafeteria.
