Supplies and Elective Fees For Latin Students
Supply List For All Latin Students
-3+ composition (or decomposition) notebooks
-1 box of tissues
-1 pack of Expo whiteboard markers (for use on personal whiteboards)
-1 whiteboard eraser
-1 binder with pockets or folder for organizing handouts
-3” x 5” index cards to be used as flash cards in class and at home (as needed throughout year)
Latin III Additional Supply List:
*a copy of Essential Latin Grammar. Gregory Klyve.
-Latin/English pocket dictionary (Collins Gem or Oxford suggested)
Latin IV Honors Additional Supply List:
*a copy of Caesar: Selections from his Commentarii De Bello Gallico. ed. Hans-Friedrich Mueller
Elective Fees for Latin Students:
-Latin Club (includes membership to National and Virginia Classical League) - $5
-Latin Honor Society (for eligible students) - $15
-National Latin Exam (administered in March) - $5
-Virginia Junior Classical League Convention (held in late November) - $75
