Dear Students and Family,
Ephesians 6:11-18 is our Bible verse for this two week period. The Bible verse recitation will be due October 11.
GrandParents Day is October 5, 2001. This should prove to be a very exciting day! I look forward to meeting every one's grandparents and special friends. The Book Fair will open at 7:30a.m.-12:30p.m. Southwest Books will be set up in the Youth Center of FBC, Sugarland from 6:00a.m.-11:00a.m. Words To Grow On will be set up in the school library from 11:30a.m.-12:30p.m. There will be no Saturday Book Fair.
No Library for 2nd grade next week due to Book Fair.
Book-It begins October 1, 2001. Each child will be required to read six (6) books per month. These books can be AR books or any book of their choice. Pizza Hut provides a pizza reward at the end of each month for each child. Book-It goes from October through March, 2002. More information coming later.
Don't forget Chick-Fil-A and CiCi's Pizza nights. Support our school!
Field trip to the Fort Bend Museum, October 11, 2001. We will leave the school around 9:00 and will return to school approximately 12:00. Permission slips will be coming home soon. Please complete and return as soon as possible. If you would like to go with us, please call the office and reserve your spot.

Wednesday - Math, Comprehension, Oral Reading
Thursday - Phonics, Handwriting, Spelling
