General Use Computer Lab!

STUDENT RESPONSIBILITIES:


AT THE BEGINNING OF THE PERIOD:
  • Immediately report any damage to your computer to your teacher.
DURING THE PERIOD:
  • Stay on task. Work on the assignment you have been given by your teacher.
  • Do not use instant messaging software or non-educational games.
  • Do not alter the computer in any way.
    • Do not change the desktop.
    • Do not change the internet browsers' default settings.
    • Do not alter files which do not belong to you.
    • etc.
  • Do not damage the computer. You will be held accountable for any damages you have done.
    • Do not take the mouse apart.
    • Do not remove any faceplates.
    • Do not change the locations of the keys on the keyboard.
    • etc.
  • Follow the HCPS Student Code of Responsible Computer Usage.
    • You can read this on pp. 36-37 of your student planner.
  • Follow the Fallston High School Guidelines for Internet Use.
    • You can read this on p. 35 of your student planner.
  • Report any computer malfunctions to your teacher, so that the problem(s) can be fixed.
AT THE END OF THE PERIOD:
  • Close out of the application(s) you were using.
  • Make sure the desktop is teal/blue.
  • Throw any trash away.
  • Push your chair in.
  • If your class is the last class in the lab today, properly shut down your computer from the Start Menu.
This is the default web site. Do not change it.

    The following stations are missing the round Dell logo from the front of the had drive:

  • Station 19
  • Station 19 is also missing one leg from the keyboard.

REPAIR REQUESTS AS OF February 5, 2004:

  • Station 2 is not starting up properly.
  • Station 8 had trouble in Excel with the = sign.
