Reading: We have completed all the skills and vocabulary for our third reading book. We will spend a day or two next week doing some review. We expect to start the next reading book sometime next week.
Spelling: Review of all short 'e' families.
Math: Addition and Subtraction Strategies--Children should be starting to memorize "easy" facts: plus zero, plus one, plus two.
Handwriting: In general, the students'handwriting is showing growth. We will continue to emphasize correct formation, size, and spacing.
Science: Amphibians (integrated with reading)
