Report cards are going home today. There are many inserts in the envelope besides the computerized report. There is a sheet that tells what the letter grades mean for Art, Music, and Physical Education. Reading reports include the Reading Checklist and an AR summary. If your child is a Cozy Corner Reader, there is a report from Mrs. Underwood. If your child attends Speech class, Mrs. Swanson has a report also.
Please note a conference sheet in the report card envelope. Conferences are only on one evening - February 25th. Therefore, teachers are meeting with some parents but not all. If I have indicated that I would like to meet with you, please don't conclude that your child is having great difficulty. I might just want to touch base and give you some ideas to help your child at home. Please return next week the bottom portion of the conference sheet along with the signed white copy of the report card.
Many parents indicated they wished to go along on our field trip to the Science Center. I will be in touch with the first parent who returned the form. She will be the only chaperone to ride the bus and pay $5.25. However, if you wish to pay $7.75 and drive yourself, everyone may certainly go with us. Please let me know and send in your money next week.
