Hello Future Teachers of America.  

You have a young man who has made the runoff for Homecoming King.  We need to get his garter made.  If you can stay and help me out on Thursday, please do.

Last meeting notes:

We spent a few minutes cleaning up the spilled coke.  I am really sorry about that guys.  I did not think about the desk becoming top heavy.

We elected officers.  Results will be posted on the bulletin board outside the door.

I discussed the talent show fund raiser idea with those present.  Because of the work that is involved and the calendaring problem, it was recommended that we put the talent show on hold and not conflict with the Senior Serve in January.

I reported that the registration fees for the conference were very cheap -- they run about $20.00.  The major expense that the club would incur IF(and I repeat IF) we are approved for the conference would be transportation and hotel expenses.  Food would be paid by the students attending the conferences.

           putting money into the jars.  The teacher with

              LOCAL RESTARAUNT.
       
    New Business
     a.  We need to establish a service project.  
         1.  Boys and Girls Club After School
         2.  Highway clean-up Program.
         3.  Volunteer with nursing home/hospital
         4.  Any other ideas?
     b.  Adopt a student to send cards & notes too.
     c.  Set up a "Secret Pal" system to encourage mbrs.
     d.  Set up a "Secret Pal" system for staff.
