DAY BY DAY ITINERARY
Wednesday, October 18
Approximately 7:30 pm EDT (1:30 am Thursday in Cholet -- sound familiar??) Bus leaves Cholet for 5-hour ride to Paris' Charles de Gaulle Airport.
Thursday, October 19
3:55 am EDT (9:55 am Paris time): Continental Flight 057 leaves Charles de Gaulle Airport, Paris.
11:55 am: Continental Flight 057 arrives in Newark.
1:25 pm: Continental Flight 3079 leaves Newark
2:39 pm: Continental Flight 3079 arrives in Buffalo. Bus will transport our guests to Fairview High School.
Somewhere between 5 pm and 5:30, Choletais arrive at Fairview High School. There will be a light reception. Host families will meet their guests and take them home.
There are no further events officially scheduled for tonight.
Friday, October 20
Host students will take their guests to school. The French students will get their first taste of life in an American school.
This morning the Cholet students at Fairview will see a presentation about Andy Warhol by Mrs. Schoeller. This will take place during the first block. Hosts will take their exchange students to homeroom. When the homeroom period ends, host will escort their guests to the library computer lab. Mrs. Schoeller will start the presentation there. During the class, she will take them to her classroom for the remainder of the period. At the end of first period, please go to Mrs. Schoeller's classroom to get your student. They will stay with you the rest of the day.
Friday night is also the football game against Girard. Afterwards there will be a dance in the cafeteria for all of the students. Students, please ask if your parents can chaperone.
