Excursion to Titusville

7:50 am Bus leaves FHS north parking lot for Titusville
9:30 am Approximate time of arrival at Drake Well Museum. (http://www.drakewell.org/index.htm)
The Drake Well Museum tells the story of the beginning of the modern oil industry with orientation videos, exhibits, operating oil field machinery, and historic buildings in a park setting.
11:00 am While at the Drake Well Museum we'll get on board the Oil Creek and Titusville Railroad. (http://octrr.clarion.edu/default.htm) According to their website, You'll travel back in time when you ride the Oil Creek and Titusville Railroad. Our two and a half hour trip will take you to where oil history began. Our tour guides describe the people and places that make up Pennsylvania Oil Country.
Note: You must pack a lunch for this excursion. You will eat your lunch while on the train ride.
1:25 pm Train returns to Drake Well Museum. We board bus to return home
3:00 pm Approximate time of return to FHS north lot.
