Have a small party or get together and invite some of the other exchange students and maybe even their hosts students. This was done a few times during the last few exchanges and they we well received. If your exchange student is invited to one of these parties, then that’s one less night that you need to organize. You may need to contact other families to avoid the possibility of too many parties on one night.

You may even want to plan your own little excursion to anywhere you want. Including some of your guest’s friends could make it nicer for them. And their hosts could do the same in return.

Playing pool, twister (I hear they loved this once!) and cards--maybe they can teach you some new games!

The Erie Otters (http://www.ottershockey.com/index.htm) have home games on Friday, October 24 and Saturday, October 25.

Pentagon Paintball (operated by our very own Athletic Trainer, Nicole)

If you have others, let me know and I’ll spread the word.
