Day 1: Friday, October 19, 2001
4:25 am (10:25 am in Paris) Continental flight 81 leaves Paris. Note: Since this is a "Continental Flight operated by Air France" the update will appear on the Air France website. It is listed as Air France Flight 4, not Flight 81.

12:25 pm Flight 81 arrives in Newark. (Let's hope their luck there will be better than ours!)
12:45 pm Bus (and luggage van) leave FHS for Buffalo
1:40 pm Contintental flight 4096 leaves Newark.
3:15 pm Cholet students and teachers arrive at Buffalo Airport on flight 4096. If you'd like to track the status of their flights, click here (www.continental.com).
6:00 pm Approximate arrival time at FHS. Phone chain will be in effect in case of delays. Brief reception in FHS cafeteria. Host families take guests home.
Day 2: Saturday, October 20, 2001
No events scheduled. Spend day doing activities planned by host
families.
There are some sporting events at FHS: JV football vs. Harbor Creek (10:30 am);
ECL Cross Country Meet (9:00 am); Girls Varsity Soccer vs. Seneca SENIOR DAY (1pm); Boys Varsity Soccer vs. Seneca SENIOR DAY (3 pm).
Evening: Get together planned at Luke Sandell's.
Day 3: Sunday, October 21, 2001
No events scheduled. Spend day doing activities planned by host
families.
Day 4: Monday, October 22, 2001
Cholet guests will go to school with their hosts (as will be the case
every school day). Take them to your homeroom. They will go with
you to your morning classes.
Normally they will eat lunch with you. However, make sure they go

Possible evening activity: Open pool / Open Gym at FHS
Days 5 & 6: Tuesday, October 23 - Wednesday, October 24, 2001
7:45 am Depart for Niagara Falls and Toronto from FHS north lot.

Day 7: Thursday, October 25, 2001
Excursion to Falling Water (Mill Run, PA) and Carnegie Science Center

Day 8: Friday, October 26, 2001
Students will spend entire day at school.
Morning presentation by Mr. Larry Kessler,
former teacher and principal at FHS, and active participant in the
Cholet Exchange. In the past, Mr. Kessler has given a historical presentation -- in French -- to
the Cholet students and will again today.
Hosts, please meet your guests at the end of 2nd period. They will be
with you for lunch, third and fourth periods.
Home sporting event: Football vs. Corry (7:30)
After the game, there is a dance sponsored by the Class of 2003.
Day 9: Saturday, October 27, 2001

Halloween!

They will be back in time for 2:15 dismissal.
Nothing else planned. One possible idea: show them how we celebrate
Halloween in America. Or: get some rest before tomorrow’s long

8:00 am Cholet students leave FHS (time to say “Au revoir!”)
11:00 am Arrival at Buffalo Airport
2:10 pm Continental Flight 3396 leaves Buffalo
2:30 pm Flight arrives in Newark.
