I. DEADLINE FOR $200 DISCOUNT COMING SOON
Please remember that if you would like to take advantage of the $200 discount, your initial payment of $95 is due to NETC by April 1. Please get your check to me, along with your completed application, on Monday, March 24 or Tuesday, March 25. I would like to send them in the mail, together, on Wednesday, March 26. I will be leaving town on Thursday, March 27 as the Speech and Debate Team participates in the State Championships, so it is very important that you observe this deadline in order to take advantage of the discount.
II. PARENT MEETING ON MARCH 11
If you weren’t able to attend the parent meeting on March 11, please see the agenda from that meeting. Of particular importance is item IV, Important Financial Information. Please note that there is a difference between this information and the costs I listed in a previous handout. I apologize. The prices I listed in the handout were incorrect. I inadvertanly printed the 2002 prices, not the 2003 prices. What you see on the link here is correct. If any of the other items on the agenda make you curious, let me know if you’d like to hear more about what was said.
III. EXTRA DAY IN PARIS?
As you look at the financial information, you see that this includes an extra fay in Paris. The cost of this extra day is $165. It is not yet certain whether or not we will spend this extra day in Paris. I will let you decide. I prefer, if we spend the extra day, that it be a unanimous choice. If all of you want to do this, we will. If any of you do not want to, we won’t
IV. WHO IS WITH US SO FAR?
This is a list of people who are expressing an interest so far. I have also included their e-mail addresses. If you notice that I have an incorrect address for someone, please let me know. If you have decided not to travel with us anymore, please let me know. I will remove your name from this list.
V. TRAVELING WITH ANOTHER SCHOOL
After our attempts last year at organizing a trip to France, one solution to our problem of low numbers was to invite a neighboring school district to join us. I am certainly not opposed to this idea. As of this time, nothing has been set yet, however I am attempting to get in touch with another French teacher from the area. As soon as I have some definite information, I will let you know.
