Dear travelers, potential travelers and parents,
It's been a while. I'd like to give you some reminders and updates before the school year ends. Below are miscellaneous items of interest. Rest assured, you will be hearing from me over the summer. I will be e-mailing updates that can be read on our website. If that method doesn't work for you, please let me know and I will send the updates to you via postal mail.
Ø We do have a fundraiser set for next September. It will be together with the French Club. The one difference is that you (travelers) get to keep your profit to put towards your trip.
Ø So far we still have three people enrolled in our trip and nine who have yet to make an official decision.
Ø Remember, if you enroll ($95 registration) by July 15, you get a $200 discount, provided you make a second payment of $400 by September 1. If you made your initial payment before April 1, you are already set for this discount. You need not make a second payment ($400) until September 1.
Ø If you are among the undecided, please contact me. I'd love to know your answer before the school year ends, if possible.
Ø If you decide to enroll, please give your application (with $95 check) to me, rather than sending it directly to NETC.
Ø In an effort to increase the number of participants I have been in touch with the French teachers of General McLane and Girard, hoping to encourage them and their students to join us in our exchange. General McLane has decided to wait until 2005 to travel, so will not accompany us. I hope to get a response from Girard soon. I'll let you know as soon as I hear from Girard.
