Dear Travelers & Families,
Initially, the purpose of this update was to remind you of the upcoming payment deadline, and to announce an upcoming fund raiser. I will still include those details below. However, after receiving a phone call yesterday (Saturday, January 24), we now have another issue that needs immediate attention
A New Problem
As you know, Jessica Durante, along with her sister Leslie and their mother joined our group over the summer, bringing our total number to nine.
Mrs. Durante called me yesterday. Unfortunately, they will no longer be able to travel with us, and now we are down to six.
I'd like to meet with all parents as soon as possible to discuss all options and determine what you would like to do.
Are all of you available Monday evening at 8:00? The meeting will be in my classroom. I will try to call all of you today (Sunday) to see if you got this message and whether or not you are available.
February 15 deadline
If you haven't sent in the balance of the money you owe to NETC, hang on to it, pending what we decide at our upcoming meeting.
Fund Raiser
In February we will have a fund raiser with the assistance of Lake Shore Teresa's Deli. In 2001 this fund raiser proved very profitable for some of the participants.
You will be selling coupons for subs. Each coupon will sell for $3.25, and you receive a profit of $1.26 for each coupon you sell. The coupons will be valid until April 31, 2004.
