Here is an update regarding our new plan. So far it seems to be working.
School District
I informed Mrs. Dreistadt of your suggestion and she is fine with it. She realizes what you all have been through so far and wants very badly for this trip to succeed, even if it means she will no longer be a part of it.
I asked Mr. Kessler if he felt this would be a good idea. His initial reaction is yes. He wants to be assured that the accompanying parent is female. I assured him that Mrs. Gruneisen had offered to go. He has asked me to submit a written proposal and he will go over it with the school district's solicitor and give me a response in a few days. I am going to type that up as soon as I send this update.
NETC
I checked with NETC about the "Land-only" fee. It is a discount of $630 from our tour package. Therefore, the costs for the new adult are as follows:
Our tour package: $2404
Land Only -$630
Extra day in Paris +$165
Adult surcharge ($28/day x 11 days) +$308
Versailles: +$45
Registration: +$ 95
