TRIP UPDATE - October 17, 2005
Dear Students & Parents,
We have some very good news. As of Friday afternoon, we have eighteen people enrolled in our trip to France and Spain. Since we have surpassed our goal of twelve people, we have passed one barrier in our efforts to travel. All that remains now is school board approval.
The board meetings are held the second and fourth Mondays each month. On the second Monday they discuss issues. On the fourth Monday they vote. Therefore we will be 100% sure of our fate following the November 28 meeting.
This does pose a minor problem to which I do have a solution.
I've been in touch with our EF rep. He will send me a letter telling me that if the school board says no to our request, EF will refund your $95 deposit. Once I receive that letter, I will send your payments to EF.
As you know from the brochure, your second payment of $400 is due 30 days after your first payment. I will let you know when that date is. However, since that day will probably be before the November 28 school board meeting, I have asked our rep if you can delay your second payment until after the meeting. I imagine that will also be mentioned in the letter from EF.
