TRIP UPDATE - April 21, 2006

Dear Travelers and Parents,
In an update last week I mentioned that EF wanted to shift the dates of our tour. The reason for the switch was the difficulty EF was having trying to book return flights for June 28, our original choice. They had also looked into June 29 and 30 before finally having success with July 1.
Since that time, I have been in contact several times with our EF tour consultant, Dave Abramovich. We were looking into several suggestions to help get our dates back. I won't bore you with those right now, but if you're curious, let me know.
Unfortunately it was just not possible to make return arrangements any sooner than July 1.
I apologize for the inconvenience this change will cause. I have been in touch with the families of two students this change affected. Fortunately adjustments are able to be arranged.
As far as our departure date goes, I have requested June 15, telling Dave that if that doesn't work, we'll go backwards one day at a time. I'll let you know as soon as that is set.
As far is Cholet is concerned, despite the initial concern, Madame Bouvier feels that, although the change is not ideal for them, it is still something she can accommodate.
Having done six trips like this in the past, one lesson I have learned is that no matter what, there will be times when things don't go as you had planned, and you need to be flexible and "roll with it". But I have also seen that despite these curves we get thrown, we always end up having a great time. I guarantee this will be no exception!
