Dear Travelers and Parents,
I have two items to tell you about.
1. Fund Raiser
I have set up a fund raiser with Teresa's Italian Deli on West Lake Road near Milfair. Whe you receive the materials, you will get more details. But for now I will tell you that this fund raiser involves selling coupons for 10-inch sub sandwiches at Teresa's. They will sell for $3.75 and you will earn a profit of $1.16 for each coupon you sell. I will give each of you 30 coupons to start with. Please carefully read the letter that accompanies the tickets. You should receive these on Monday or Tuesdays.
2. Getting to D.C.
As you know, when I gave you the flight arrangements a few days ago, I said I was hoping EF could instead get us a bus from Erie to DC, so we could leave Erie at 8:00 am rather than at one or two in the morning. Agent Dave did look into this for us. He let me know that the flights from Pittsburgh had already been booked and canceling them would not be easy and would be expensive. Therefore, the plans mentioned in that update are official.
