STUDENTS, PLEASE BE SURE THIS INFORMATION GETS TO YOUR PARENTS!!!
Dear Travelers and Parents,
Here is the final list of expenses.
1. Buses from Fairview to Pittsburgh and back
Good news here. The Fairview School District will pay for this.
2. Buses from Paris to Cholet; Cholet to Paris
cost per person: 95 euros ($122)
3. Puy du Fou
We will be going here twice. First on Saturday evening we will see the Cinéscénie (from the website: From the Middle Ages to the end of World War II, nearly 2 hours of intense emotion and 700 years of history in a gigantic spectacle unique in the world. A superproduction drawing on the most recent technology, the most spectacular special effects and the enthusiasm of over 3,000 volunteers.)
Then, on Tuesday we will visit the Grand Parc. We will have the day to explore the grounds.
The Lycée Renaudeau (the school in Cholet) will pay for our transportation each time we go to Puy du Fou. We will pay our own admission fee, which totals 44 euros ($56).
4. Futuroscope
Admission to park and transportation to and from the park will be paid for by the Lycée Renaudeau.
5. Tips for Bus driver and tour director : $54.
Of these fees, the only one that I must have before departure is the $54 for tips. This is because I will purchase traveler's checks, which I will exchange at the end of the trip. Paying me or Mme Lueck before the school year ends is preferred, to make things simpler.
Regarding the remaining 139 euros ($178), I can wait until we are in Cholet to collect that. However, if you prefer, you can pay me before we leave.
Whether you are just paying the $54 at this time, or the entire $232, you may pay me in cash or by check (payable to Robert Hall). Again, doing so before the school year ends is best. But if you need some extra time to pay, please keep in mind that I would like to purchase the traveler's checks for the tips no later than June 15.
