246 DAYS TO DEPARTURE!!
We are ready to take the next step in our plans for the trip. An informational meeting will take place on Thursday, August 7, 7:00 pm in my classroom, room 124.
I have received brochures and other handouts from EF. I will explain all you need to know about our trip, our Cholet Exchange program, and some very important financial details. All you will need to bring are any questions you may have, and possibly your first payment of $95.
Much of the information I will give you on paper can be found on EF's website. Go to eftours.com, click the tab on top that says "Parents & Students". In the right margin where you see "Get Started Today", type tour number 502461, click "Check out a tour" and click "Go". This will take you to a profile of our EF tour. Near the bottom, click on "Download Itinerary" to see a PDF version of one of the brochures I will pass out at the meeting. Looking at it in advance may put into your mind some questions for me when we meet.
As you explore EF's website, you'll see that you are able to enroll and make follow up payments online. I will ask that for your first payment, please do not use the online feature. Instead, please complete the application and give it to me with your check for $95. The $95 is non-refundable. I will not send your checks to EF unless we have at least 12 - 15 travelers.
I also want to point out that the program fee is due to change September 1. If you enroll before the end of August, the increase in program fee wll not apply to you.
