CHOLET UPDATE - August 12, 2008

232 DAYS TO DEPARTURE!!

So, you have made the decision to enroll. As you can see at the top of page 16 of the EF brochure, you have four methods of submitting your application. If you do not have a brochure, I have plenty to pass out. You can also view one by clicking here: EF Brochure

Although enrolling on the internet is the fastest method, for the time being I will ask you not to use it. This is because of the risk of losing your non-refundable $95 Lifetime Membership Fee.

Instead, I am asking you to complete an application (back cover of the brochure), and place it, with a check for $95 (payable to EF Educational Tours) in the envelope provided in the brochure. Please do not seal the envelope (so I can keep my records up to date by knowing who is enrolling).

Enrollment Notes:
• In the upper –left corner of the application, you are asked to affix a label. I forgot to pass those out at the meeting. I can put the label on your application. I will send the applications so that they will arrive at EF before August 31.
• I will not send these applications to EF unless it seems like we will reach our minimum of twelve travelers. That way, if we cancel due to low enrollment, you won’t lose your $95.
• Assuming the trip is not cancelled, you may want to consider using the Auto Pay. Details are on page 19. The two biggest advantages I see to Auto Pay: (1) No need to worry if you forget to make a payment; (2) (And this is a fact I neglected to mention at the meeting!), you get more time to finish your payments! Typically, your final payment is due 99 days before we leave (December 30, 2008). With Auto Pay, your final payment is due 35 days before we leave (February 26, 2009). If you wish to use Auto Pay, please indicate this where asked on the application.
• Once your application and check are ready, put them into the envelope provided in the brochure – please don’t seal it – and bring it to the school office. Ask the secretary to put it into my ,mail box. If you prefer, you can mail it to me at school (inside another envelope, address is above). In either case, send me an e-mail so I know it’s coming, especially if you do this before school starts.

That's it! If you have decided to travel, please don't hesitate to enroll (even though I may hesitate to send). Right now we have an idea of how many want to come. But I don't "officially" count you until you have enrolled.
