If you would like to meet with the new Executive Director, please come to one of these meetings: March 10 at Pemberton from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m VAG SUMMER SCHOLARSHIPS Would your student like to attend a program for gifted and talented student this summer? Do you need some help paying tuition? The VAG offers scholarships to help. The application deadline is April 15. Got to www.vagifted.org for an application and more details. OPPORTUNITIES AROUND TUCKAHOE MIDDLE SCHOOL ~The following are clubs offered at TMS this year and the club's sponsor(s). 1- MORNING INTRAMURALS. Morning intramurals will begin Wednesday morning at 7:30 in the gym. Intramurals will begin with Whiffle Ball on Tuesdays, Game Day on Wednesdays, and Badminton on Thursdays. Selection of members is a function of the membership committee. They base its selection upon a balanced representation of parent, professional staff, and community members who reflect the ethnic and geographic composition of the school system. Council members are appointed annually by the school board and can serve up to three years. Students in grades two through eight can participate in the Talent Search by scoring at the 95th percentile or higher on nationally normed, standardized tests, or at the top levels on state tests.
