Orchestra Accomplishments
The Advanced Orchestra has performed over 20 pieces this year at various locations. They are as follows:
Culpepper Manor
Inova Fairfax Children's Hospital
Sleepy Hollow Manor
Harris Teeter (with an invitation back in December)
The White House
The December Winter Concert
9 Orchestra students will represent the Glasgow Middle School Orchestra at the District X Honors Orchestra in January. They are: Schuyler Slack, Mia Rothenberg, Judy Gillis, Erik Douglas, Kristin Berry, Roxana Anvari, MacKenzie Sigalos, Evan Reid, Anna Yergat. We are very proud of you.
The Glasgow Middle School was invited to perform at The White House after sending in a CD of the orchestra. Ms. Schnepper is very proud of the students who performed there. Their behavior was exceptional and their performance was stunning.
Next semester will be busy as well. Upcoming events include: Music Clinic, District Festival, Solo and Ensemble Festival, Spring Concert at Stuart High School and Busch Gardens trip and competition.
