Speech class with Mrs. Glass
Speech is a course designed to help students improve individual communication skills. This course studies the essential steps of the speechmaking process over the semester. If the course is successfully completed, the student will earn one credit.

I will post a weekly agenda on my website. If you would like to contact me please email me. I can get back to you by the end of the day.
I have a supplies list request for each period. The students earn 10 extra credit points. However, if there is a financial hardship please email me and your student will still receive extra credit.
Period 1- 1 box of tissue (facial)
Period 3- 1 box of tissue (facial)
Period 4- 1 box of pencils
Period 5- 1 box of pencils
Period 7- 1 pack of 3*5 cards
Period 8 1 pack of 3*5 cards
Each student has his or her own file folder in my room. They can use these folders to hold their work. I use the folders to return graded work.
The students will have four major speeches. The last speech counts for 25% of their grade. Homework usually consists of writing and memorizing speeches.
