Spelling Test List #21 for the week of March 5.
The sentences are:  1.  Shut the right center door on the cooler tight.  2.  He once went to the station to rotate the bright white tire.  3.  The high nation might crunch the low nation.  4.  The caption on the door said "grudge".  5.  I will give enough food to the birds to last all week.  Reminder: I will continue to give dictation test from now until school is out using the current spelling list.  There will be no more than ten sentences.  The sentences will be given to your child to study.  I will continue to have a pre-test on Wednesday and final test on Friday.

In English we are learning about adjectives.

In Phonics we are learning more digraphs and more sight words.

We are reading "My Soccer League".  Be sure to have your child read this story to you.  I have sent home a form for you to sign and have your child return if they read the story.  Reminder:  Each time they read the story we are reading for the week they get 10 extra bonus points.  I must have the paper saying they have read the story to you.

Remember to have your child read 10-15 minutes every night.  We are still doing Book-It and Braums Ice Cream reading incentives.  It is so important that your childre reads every day and for you to read to your child.  If you would like to come to read to our class please let me know. We love to listen to people read.  If you need help finding a book I will be more than happy to help you.  Just let me know.

We are learning fractions in math.  Out class has learned that when we use food to learn fractions it is more fun and we understand the concept better.

Thank you all for donating the snacks for are testing breaks.

I am interested to know if this web page is useful or not.  Please respond and let me know.  Good or bad I would like to know what you think.

Thanks for sharing your wonderful children with me!
