If you are here, perhaps you know of a wonderful lady named Anne McCaffrey. She created the dragonriders of pern and will always remain a very special person. I, being the amateur writer, (and dragonrider) have decided to write a little fan fiction. It is below and will be updated once in a while. Henceforth the story starts...
Wow. Nothing could adequatly describe this feeling but Wow. I, a holdbred Pernese from Cove Hold, riding a-dragonback to the hatching grounds of Benden Weyr. There Lessa's queen's clutch was, including a queen egg, I was told, was waiting on the very sands.
