Objective: This course is designed to help you improve your English grammar in speaking, listening, reading, and writing. The emphasis will be on the grammar needed for academic and professional purposes.

Attendence:  The University requires that a student attend at least 80% of all class days in order to pass the course. If you have more than 5 absences at midterm or 12 absences at the end of the term, you will receive an F.

**It is important for you to be on time for class. If you are late three times, I will count that as one absence.
(3 late = 1 absence)
