WELCOME ENDEAVOUR CORE HISTORY STUDENTS!!!
The purpose of this website is
- to help review and practice what we learn in class
- to enrich the curriculum by providing links to
history sites which you may visit for extra credit
Mrs. Hoover's extra credit policy:
Students are allowed to receive extra credit (a 100 averaged into their type one assignments) three times per quarter. The extra credit is not meant to replace regular asignments, but to enrich the curriculum by having students delve deeper into a topic of their choice.
There are several ways to earn extra credit.
1. Watch a one hour television show on a history topic
covered in our text. Write a few new and interesting
facts that you learned and HAVE YOUR PARENTS SIGN THAT
YOU DID WATCH THE SHOW FOR AN HOUR.
2. Visit a museum or historical site on a history topic
covered in our text. Write a few new and interesting
facts that you learned and HAVE YOUR PARENTS SIGN THAT
YOU DID VISIT THE SITE OR MUSEUM.
3. Go to a link set up at this website and spend at
least one half hour at the site. Write 10 new and
interesting facts you learned or follow specific
directions for the site. HAVE YOUR PARENTS SIGN THAT
YOU SPENT THE REQUIRED TIME AT THE WEBSITE LINK.
