Homework: As discussed at our open house, you should be reading at least 20 minutes a night for homework. The more you read, the better reader you become! Also, Literature responses will be presented on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Please remember to check for the date you signed up to present.

Science: Bring in Insulators for Thursday's Experiment. No Fiberglass Insulation or other materials that may be dangerous.

Science: Bring in insulators for tomorrow.
February 17th:
Math: Math Boxes and Study Links 7-10, begin working on the Study Guide, Unit 7 Test on Friday.
Spelling: Unit 15, Prefixes. HW word sort page 92.
Science: Light Bulb Inventory of your home. Make a list of all the bulbs in your home that you have access to by recording its wattage and type of bulb (CFL or Incandescent).
Social Studies: First Contract item due tomorrow.
February 23rd:
Math: All math boxes from Unit 7 are due tomorrow, sign unit 7 test.
Spelling: Unit 16, suffixes. Word Sort page 98.
Social Studies: Next contract item is due Wed 2/25.
Reading: The first literature response is past due, please complete one as soon as possible. The next one will be due in two weeks.
February 25th:
Math: Complete Math Boxes 9-1. Pictionary book should be ready to go for tomorrow.
Spelling: Page 100 and top of 101.
Reading: The first literature response is past due. Please complete one A.S.A.P.
February 26th:
Math: Complete the even numbers on the Computation Packet (odd numbers were done in class today).
Spelling: Practice Test for Unit 16
Science: Complete the designing stage for your Rube Goldberg Device (Workbook pages 39-41).
March 3rd:
Math: Math Boxes 9-2, Study Links 9-1 and 9-2. Math Pictionary Book due Friday.
Social Studies: The last contract item is now due on Friday.
Reading: Don't forget to do a literature response soon.
March 4th:
Math: Math Boxes and Study Links 9-3.
Handwriting: Page 41 and 42
Science: Make sure you have sketched out your good copy of your contraption. You will have time tomorrow to work on the coloring and description.
Social Studies: Final Contract item will be due on Friday.
