I'm finally getting to the point that I can get the homepage up and running. I'll try to change messages every week, so please check back frequently.
We are finishing our "imaginary land" stories, using the trait of Ideas from the Six Traits of Writing. Students were asked to think about an imaginary land with unusual characteristics, and how those characteristics would affect the lifestyle of the people living there.
The focus in Language Arts instruction for the next few weeks will be the reading and writing skills needed for the New York State Social Studies Assesment.
Five week reports will be given out no later than Tuesday, October 15. These should be signed and returned. Please contact me at home or by email if there are any questions or comments.
