1.  Make flashcards for the irregular preterite verbs.  Put on ring and bring to class tomorrow.
2.  Practice reading your ghost story.  Read it to your parents and ask them for feedback on your pronunciation/expression.  Does it sound mysterious and scary?

Study for quiz on irregular preterite verbs:  Go through flashcards; use each verb in a sentence that fits your life; use each verb in a sentence to describe an action that happened on a train trip.

martes, 9 de mayo
Text:  p. 396-398.  Read about trains in Spain (AVE) and the train to Machu Picchu in Peru.
Answer the questions after each section using the past tense.

miércoles, 10 de mayo
Complete the review sheet for the chapter test on Friday.

jueves, 11 de mayo
Do your final study for the test.
1.  Review the objectives above.  Can you demonstrate mastery of each objective?
2.  Review palabras 1 & 2.  Use your textbook (380-81, 384-85) to identify the pictures (visual learners); review QUIA;  have your parent read the English and you say or write the Spanish. (relational learners).
3.  Make up sentences using the vocabulary words-- be funny!  Make the words stick in a humorous way:)
4.  Review irregular preterite (p. 388, 390, 391, 392).  Know the conjugation of each of these verbs.  Be able to use them in sentences.
5.  Review the information about the trains in Spain and Peru.
