Week of November 30th:
Team Branding projects will be presented on Monday December 3rd. Your team will receive extra credit for professional dress on Monday as well as Tuesday if we do not have time for all of the presentations. Be sure all team members have a copy of the presentation in case one of you is absent. I will not accept the excuse that it is on an absent member's computer. You are all responsible. A reminder that you do have to research this project information.....there is not a web-site entitled "Mrs. Herrmann's Sports Marketing Team Branding Project Answers." You and your team members need to find an analyze the market information.
Use the library web-site, project guides, team branding to find some resources. I have found that dogpile works better than google for the psychographic information.
We will continue with Chapter 3 next week on branding and ethics. Notebooks are to be brought to class each block full of paper and pencil. Most of you are seniors and I should not have to remind you of this.

All Team Branding projects are due Monday December 3rd. Written and oral presentations are to be ready this date. This is a major assessment. You will have some time this week to complete this in class; however, if time is not being used wisely you will forfeit the class time. It is expected time outside of class will have to be used as well.
Wage and hour reports for November are due December 5th. Get these in early for your extra credit points.
Units on branding and ethics are to follow.
All week 11 player reports and stats are past due. Week 12 is due Thursday. Many of you have not completed the Wall Street Journal assignment. This will not be accepted after Thursday November 29th.
Week of November 9th:
All October Wage and Hour reports are past due. Get these in ASAP. Be sure to update your November reports each week.
Pictures of me projects are well past due...get these in NOW!
Team Branding projects will be due Nov. 19th. We will design your uniforms and promotion items in class next week.
Notebooks will be checked for updated notes, player reports and stats, tests, quizzes, and handouts. Be sure to update and organize. This should be an easy "A" for all of you. The notes this week were on Market Segmentation.
Monday November 12 is professional dress day get your extra credit. We have a guest speaker from VCU on Monday come prepared to show your social intelligence and ask great questions.
