This week we will review Community Helpers and close the unit on “Let’s Go to Work.” We will begin the unit “How Does Your Garden Grow?”
We will practice counting by fives. We will introduce letter Ww and meet Wilbur Walrus.
Your child will learn what a plant needs to grow. We will also discuss how weather impacts plants.
         
The students will write letter Gg and Ww. They will plant their very own plant. We will review patterns and counting up to 11 sets.

We will complete Little Book 9 and introduce Little Book 10.

This week we will learn that Jesus tells God’s good news. We will discuss Lent and learn about special prayers that we pray as Catholics. They will understand Jesus’ mission on earth is to tell God’s good news to us.
