First Grade May 21-25, 2012
Notes & Reminders:
1. No Homework. Enjoy your children.
2. Please send a self-addressed, business sized, stamped envelope so we can mail your child’s final report card.
3. Parent’s Day Picnic is Wednesday, May 23, 2012, 11:30-1:00.
• Please meet us at the first grade playground.
• Students may come in “Aloha attire”: shorts to the knee, any shirt with a sleeve (no crop tops), tennis shoes. No swimsuits, please.
• Please make arrangements for siblings.
• Students should bring:
black sharpie pen
lunch and drink (for parents as well)
folding chair/towel/blanket to sit on
4. NOTE: Students will not be eating lunch in the cafeteria so please send a small snack for the morning due to late picnic lunch.
5. END OF THE YEAR NEWS:
• No buses running this week.
• Last day for Aftercare is Friday, May 25th.
• Last day of school is May 25th. Dismissal is at 11:30.
• Check online for any unpaid or overpaid cafeteria balances.
6. A special Thank You to all of our wonderful parents who made our year one to remember in all of our hearts.
