WEEK OF May 18th - Last week of school!!

ANNOUNCEMENTS

This will be our last Quia for the year.

I have enjoyed teaching your children, and I hope all of you have a blessed summer full of fun, relaxation, and rejuvenation.  I plan on spending a lot of time with my two grandchildren, playing tennis, gardening, and reading.  Enjoy the less stressful schedule and sleeping in.  Thank you for entrusting your children to me, and thank you for all your help and support this year.

Grades Online have been updated, except for any make-ups.  If your child has taken all his/her tests, the yellow conduct folders will go home on Monday.  Please sign and return as soon as possible.

Summer birthdays (which we recognized this week and last) are:

Jacob Bordok      June 3rd
Jayce Raborn      June 13th
Jarod Strate        June 16th
Codi Settoon       June 25th
Ensley Nunes      June 28th
Jordan Wyble      July 25th

These are very important pieces of information concerning the last few weeks of school:

1.  4th grade will have a music performance with their recorders during the Spring Concert on Tuesday, May 19th at 6:30 in the gym.  4th grade students need to be in the gym for 6:00 with dress attire (long pants and nice shirt for the boys; dress or skirt of appropriate length or dress pants and nice blouse for the girls).

2.  Please send a self-addressed, stamped, business size (4 1/8 by 9 1/2) envelope as soon as possible.   Postage will be increased before report cards are mailed out, so please be sure to put 44 cents postage on the envelope.
If you have any financial obligations to the school, the report card mailing will be held until all accounts are settled.

3.  All library books are due now.

4.  All home copy text books must be returned by Monday, May 18th.  Mrs. Huggett is coming on Monday to check books back in.  Please send any books or the reading CD if you have not done so.

5.  The last day of school is THURSDAY, MAY 21st.  It is a half day, and the buses will be running. Aftercare services will end on Wednesday, May 20th.

6.  Your child should have brought home his/her white Writing Binder on Friday.  This binder is a valuable resource tool that can be used for 5th grade.  Throughout the year, we have distributed important information to aid in the writing process.

7.  Free Dress Day on Thursday, May 21st.  A flyer will go home today.  Please follow these guidelines.
Pants:  shorts to the knees, capris, or long pants with no holes or writing on the backside
Shirts: any shirt with a sleeve; shirt must cover the waistline or be tucked in
Any shoes
Students with inappropriate clothes will be sent to the office to call home for a change of clothes

Miss Vicki (cafeteria) has asked that if you know you are joining your child for lunch, please call ahead and reserve a lunch.

No Mass this week.

If there is a difference between Quia and the assignment pad, please follow the assignment pad.
