Krewe of Angels Newsletter May 21-25, 2012 Dear Parents, ****Please view the class end-of year video on the last link below. It wasn't working the first day I posted it, but it is now (Friday, 4/25). Enjoy it as often as you wish. The Quia website will be changed out during the summer, so if you want to save it to a DVD, please do. I LOVED the digital billboard pictures of our Krewe of Angels retirement wishes for me!! Thanks to Stacey Barker for making such a memorable tribute for me! Thank you all for the precious silver bracelet called "Angels and Saints". It is from a jewelry artist that I've always loved--Jose Balli. I will always think of your love and generosity when I wear it. The surprise retirement party in my classroom on Thursday was so very heartwarming and appreciated. You have all made my exit on my teaching career with a full heart and feelings of being cherished. Thank you, Dodi and Lili for organizing this wonderful day and gift. I will never forget you--my last Krewe of Angels! Yours in Christ, Mrs. Jenny A special thank you goes out to all of my parents, especially our room mothers, Dodi Daigle and Lili Drummond. I truly appreciate all of the help and support you have given me over the year in order to make our classroom the best learning environment possible. So many of you have sent in supplies, put activities together, helped out in the classroom, and chaperoned field trips. I could not have hand picked a better group of parents to work with! Thank you so very much. YOU have been the angels that put the wind beneath our wings! As you probably already know, this is my retirement year from teaching. I have taught for 24 years, 21 of them in Catholic Schools. I have been retrospective in thinking back over my years of the many "Krewes of Angels" and I want to say that some of my best memories have been here at Holy Ghost. I have loved and appreciated the kind and generous parent help and support that make my job so much easier, and benefit our students so much. I will carry a piece of HGS in my heart the rest of my life. God bless each and every one of you! You are the final Krewe of Angels class!
