Mrs. Jenny’s Krewe of Angels Newsletter September 8-12 Dear Parents and Students, We are returning to school on Monday, Sept. 8 after having been out of school, and for many of us, evacuated, from Hurricane Gustav. Praise God that our school and communities were spared from severe damage. I hope and pray all of your families were safe and delivered from harm. Let’s pray that Our Lady of Prompt Succor intercedes for us during this storm season, and we can return to normal. We have begun our AR testing and I’m so very excited and proud of our class progress so far! Several students have already reached 25% and even 50% of their reading goals. Please look for those TOPS reports in your child’s blue folder to monitor their goal progress. Please read and discuss a book with your child each night, so he/she can test several times a week in class. We’re on a roll!
