Happy Valentine's Day!
This week we will:
5th grade - wrap up chpt 7 - Southern Colonies. We will learn a skill: How to read a resource and product map. We will review for chapter test which is Thursday.
Study: chpt 7 lessons 1,2,3 notes and skill mentioned above. Skill will be taught on Monday or Tuesday.
6th grade - wrap up chpt 8 - Ancient Greece. We will review for our chapter 8 test which is Thursday.
Study: chpt 8 lessons 1,2,3,4 notes/ Lesson 3 and 4 are on piece of paper together.
Homework:
Monday - study for chapter test Thursday
Tuesday- study for chapter test Thursday
Wednesday- study for chapter test tomorrow
Thursday- none
Friday - enjoy your weekend!
**Important note - Students should be looking over maps, notes, etc... at home on a daily basis.

Thursday, Feb. 16th - 5th gr chpt 7 test; 6th gr chpt 8 test

Important notes:
Grades are always posted online. The school office will send information home soon on how to view your child's grades online. We do not have these codes to give out.
I usually wait until the first big quiz or test to post grades. Posting too soon gives a poor reflection of the child's actual grade.
I try to send papers home every 2-3 weeks, after I have 2 or 3 papers. I do wait until make-up tests/quizzes are completed. However, I usually have tests/quizzes posted fairly quickly online, and the children see their tests/quizzes in class as soon as I grade them.
