WELCOME TO FOURTH GRADE!!!

Week of October 6, 2008

Messages:
A letter was sent home explaining how the students will be tested on the Rosary. Please ask to see the letter. Also in the letter, I asked for $3.00 from each student to make his/her own rosary at the end of the month.

We are going to the Columbia Theatre on Oct. 13. We are also going to the old and new state capitol buildings on November 14. You must complete the volunteer requirements to chaperone for these field trips. You may call Cheryl in the office 345-0977 to see what you have left to do. At this time, fingerprinting is not required, but the other parts are required.

Your child should be reading at least 15 minutes every night at home.

Check the calendar for upcoming tests and events.

Review basic addition and subtraction facts daily.

We are collecting box tops, Tyson chicken labels, and Community Coffee labels. It is a contest per grade level, so bring them in. Please label them 4th grade Linda Owens.
