VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION!!!!
*****4 1/2 DAYS LEFT FOR AR!!!!!!!! LAST DAY TO TEST IS DEC. 18. Students received an index card with the total of points that they need to reach their goal. Some of them are very close, as others are a long way off. This is very disappointing. They have had 9 weeks to reach this goal. Some have not taken a test yet. Please work with your child to make sure that they reach their goal. They will need to read more than 15 minutes a night and over the weekend. Thank you for your help and support in reaching their goal.
*****POSTER PROJECTS DUE MONDAY, DEC. 14TH
5th grade: Thank you so much for your Advent contributions. I know the children we are helping will be so excited to have a happy Christmas. What a wonderful feeling to know that you were a part of it!
This week we will:
5th and 6th-read for AR and present poster projects. A grade will be given for an oral presentation of the posters.
HOMEWORK 5th and 6th:
Monday - AR
Tuesday - AR
Wednesday - AR
Thursday - AR
Friday- AR
TENTATIVE TEST/ QUIZ SCHEDULE:
5th - Oral presentation of poster project Wed. and Thurs.
6th - Oral presentation of poster project Wed. and Thurs.
IMPORTANT DATES:
Dec. 18th- AR period ends
Dec. 18th- 1/2 day of school. Christmas party
IMPORTANT NOTES:
Make sure you are checking the computer for your child's grades on a regular basis. Don't have the code, call the office.
I try to send papers home every 2 - 3 weeks, after I have 2 or 3 papers. I will do my best to have grades posted fairly quickly online, therefore you are aware of grades prior to papers being sent home.
